The 2025 Yamaha MT-07LA (Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme variant) undergoes its most significant evolution yet, pairing a reduced-stroke 655cc CP2 parallel-twin engine with an aggressive, updated aesthetic. The fourth-generation model retains its signature punchy bottom-end torque but introduces a major technology leap through a new ride-by-wire throttle system, providing customizable engine power modes and traction control managed via a vibrant 5.0-inch color TFT dash with smartphone navigation connectivity. Handling and stability are heavily improved thanks to a stiffer redesigned frame, lighter forged wheels, and a major upgrade to premium 41mm KYB inverted front forks. Paired with safer, dual four-piston radial-mounted front brake calipers and a lighter assist and slipper clutch, this refined, 183kg wet-weight naked bike delivers a composed and incredibly accessible package that ensures novice riders can build confidence without quickly outgrowing its capabilities.^^With up to a 3 year mechanical protection plan and the most competitive finance and insurance packages available, as Australia?s largest motorcycle retailer no one makes it easier to purchase a Learner Approved Motorcycle.
